Break the Rules: How To Wear

Fashion rules are made to be broken; go on, everyone loves a rebel!

Spots & Stripes
We’re always told clashing patterns is a fashion ‘don’t’, but with the right accessories, mixing prints can create a fun, bold outfit that stands out for the right reasons. Tuck the Polka Dot Sleeveless Blouse into the Black & White Stripe Pencil Skirt; add the Edge to Edge Cardigan in red and matching bright red lips for a cute, quirky office ensemble.

Daytime Sparkle
There’s a fine line between adding a little shimmer to your daytime outfit and looking like a disco ball (unless that’s the look you’re going for!). The easiest way to tone down an OTT item is to pair it with basics or neutrals; our pick is the Pewter Paisley Sequin Top (natural tones and subtle sparkle make this easier to pull off) worn with the new Slim Fit Jegging in Mid Denim; just add some casual sandals and neutral bag.

Casual Friday
Stripes are always a favourite, and the directional pattern on the Ink Chevron Split Sleeve Top creates a flattering slimming illusion, whilst keeping you cool in a viscose/ elastane blend. Wear with the Full Length Lounger Ponte Pant in Blue Ink and a statement necklace for a relaxed Friday feel.

We’re always told to stay away from clashing or opposing colours, but sometimes unexpected colour combinations can create a winning ensemble. You could go all out and pair solid blocks of clashing colours, or add subtle pops of contrast with accessories.

We love this combination of the Long Sleeve Ponte Jacket in Blue Teal, over our Short Sleeve Textured Top in Mid Red and plain Full Length Ponte Pants in Black. Really pull the look together with black accessories, such as the Barbara Necklace and Simone Sporty slip-ons.
