Summers here and it’s time to make a splash in the style stakes.
Everyone wants to look and feel confident at the beach but not all of us feel we have the figure.. whether you are worrying about boobs, bums or belly’s don’t worry as we have these top tips for staying cool & comfortable at the beach.
Tip 1 – go bright and go bold. When you are looking for that perfect swimwear a lot of us straightaway grab for the classic black one-piece… and there is nothing wrong with that. BUT this Summer be a little more adventurous and put some colour in your swim wardrobe. Prints can be an amazing distraction from any lumps and bumps you want to take away from focus.
Tip 2 – go for swimwear with support. If you are larger in the breast department or even just the belly, make sure your swimwear will work on your favour. If you have a larger cup size make sure it has foam pads at the very least or even some swimmers offer underwire. For those of us who want to tuck away our tummy’s, look for swimmers with control mesh to pull it in. They are literately amazing!
Tip 3 – cheat confidence. Even if you have the perfect swimmers – that dazzling one-piece with tummy control or you baring all in a 2 piece, don’t be afraid to up your confidence or add it. If you are fair skinned or have some skin damage you want to cover go sun safe and use a SPF that has a tan. I recommend a SPF with a gradual tan or a moisturizer base, pop to your local pharmacy and head to the tan isle. Plus if you want to feel even more confident put a base of foundation on with a built in SPF… no one will even know but you look and feel fabulous.
Tip 4 – stay hydrated. Not just for thirst but for your skin, hair and nails to! Water is magical and all the amazing things it does for your body is wonderful. If you are soaking up the sun over summer, make sure you have half a litre an hour to stop you and your skin getting dehydrated.
